Bolivia has a rich history of peasant abuse and poverty. The indigenous citizens of Bolivia--the original settlers--are minorities when it comes to basic rights in their own land. Millions upon millions of Bolivians are living below the poverty line, with a matching unstable political situation.

But there is still hope. We can all do something to uplift the lives of these people. What can you do as a Christian? As a theist? Find out here.

Solving Poverty in Bolivia

One of the key, if not THE key, indicators if a country is already developed is its efficiency in curbing poverty. Unfortunately, by this indicator, Bolivia is definitely not a developed nation. In fact, Bolivia is considered one of the poorest and least developed nations in South America. Over the years, a variety of programs have already been launched by both government and non-government institutions to help the Bolivians eat three times a day. See them here.
