Carnaval de Oruro

Oruro Bolivia located about equidistant between La Paz and Sucre. Oruro was once called Real Villa de Don Felipe de Austria after the Spanish monarch, Philip III.The name Oruro was derived from the native tribe "Uru-Uru".

Ururo attracts tourist with their native dance called Carnaval de Oruro which was considered as one of the great folkloric events in South Africa for its masked "devil dance".
