When Americans think of fishing, tackle, poles and bait come to mind. There are so many types of fishing equipment that it can be overwelming to a non fishing type.

In the Amazon, tour guides give you just a small handheld line. No bait, poles, or tackle. That sounds like extreme fishing to me.
