Because of the Spanish explorations during the 16th to the 19th centuries, Roman Catholicism extended its reach to faw-away places like Latin America. One of the countries influenced is Bolivia.
95% of Bolivians are Catholics, giving the religion a dominating presence in the country. However, only a small part of this practice their religion actively.
