Bolivian Handicraft is a site where we sell all kind of bolivian handicrafts like alpaca clothes and accesories, awayo clothes and accesories, bolivian music, musical instruments, charangos, flutes, bombos, ceramics, carved woods, handicraft clothes, bolivianita jewerlies, bolivian food, pewter, etc.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I am motivated to launch my website because I want to show all the world the things we are capable to do, I want to show to the world our beautiful handicrafts and with this project I also help our artisans to export their products and in this way we are helping to improve the economy of a lot of indigenous families from my country Bolivia. I want to export bolivian products to help my country.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

I launched my website last year (2007) and firts the name of this site was www.comercioboliviano.com, but now we changed the name because of marketing strategies.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Firstable the name of my site was comercioboliviano, but later we changed the name because we think that is a better name, besides it shows the real objetive the site.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We not only purchase the products, we have a thought, a though to help our artisan people to show their fantastic work to the world. We think we have a social responsability for our country Bolivia.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To export bolivian products showing the real value of them
